Oticon Hearing Aids in Northeast Pennsylvania

Oticon is one of the world's most respected hearing aid makers, and the through-line of everything they build is BrainHearing™, the principle that you hear with your brain, so a hearing aid's job is to deliver sound your brain can work with naturally, rather than aggressively filtering the world down to a narrow beam. We fit and service Oticon's current lineup at both of our offices. Here's the family, briefly and in our own words:

Oticon Reveal™ Coming Soon

Oticon's newest platform, and the first hearing aid built around two AI systems running at once. One is tuned for speech, the other reads the wider soundscape, and both stay on continuously rather than switching between modes. The aim is balance: hearing the person across the table without the rest of the room going flat and lifeless.

A few things stand out in Oticon's own testing. Reveal delivers up to 25 dB more usable gain than three leading competitors, which matters more than it sounds, because feedback (that familiar whistle) is usually what limits how much help a hearing aid can safely give. The Wind and Handling Stabilizer is on its second generation, cutting wind and fumbling noise by up to 40 dB. Streaming is more stable with noticeably better range than Intent. And 94% of wearers in Oticon's comparison preferred Reveal over Intent.

It keeps the 4D sensor approach, sits in a small miniRITE housing, charges overnight for all-day power, and connects directly to iPhone®, iPad® and Android™ devices. There's also Oticon CROS RE for single-sided hearing, the first CROS to run the Dual AI system.

Reveal arrives in late 2026, and we'll be fitting it from launch. In the meantime, Oticon Zeal is available now and many patients are fitted the same day as their evaluation. More about Oticon Reveal →

Oticon Intent hearing aids with SmartCharger during a fitting consultation

Oticon Intent™

The current flagship, and an outstanding device that we fit regularly. It's built around what Oticon calls 4D Sensor technology: the device reads your head and body movement, the acoustic environment and the conversation around you to infer what you're trying to listen to, then balances sound accordingly. In practice, that means group conversations where the device keeps up as your attention moves. Rechargeable, discreet, and fully connected: hands-free calling, double-tap to answer, and direct streaming from iPhone®, iPad®, Mac®, select Android™ devices and PCs, plus TV audio via Oticon's TV Adapter and remote-microphone streaming with ConnectClip.

Oticon Own invisible-in-canal hearing aid with its case

Oticon Own™ and Own SI™

Custom-molded, in-the-ear devices built for discretion, the IIC version sits deep enough in the canal to be effectively invisible in most ears. Each one is crafted from impressions of your ear for all-day comfort, with the BrainHearing sound platform and (in supported models) hands-free connectivity despite the tiny package.

Oticon Verit behind-the-ear hearing aid

Oticon Verit™

For wearers who prefer disposable batteries, no charger to remember, spares in a pocket, Verit delivers Oticon's current sound quality and connectivity in three behind-the-ear styles, with Bluetooth and telecoil compatibility.

Oticon Xceed power hearing aid lineup

Oticon Xceed

Purpose-built power for severe-to-profound hearing loss. Xceed is engineered to maximize access to speech, from all directions, while preventing the whistling feedback that has historically plagued high-power devices. For patients who've worn power aids for years, the difference in listening effort is often the first thing they mention.

Oticon CROS

For single-sided hearing: a transmitter on the poorer ear sends sound to a receiver on the better ear, so conversation from your "bad side" stops disappearing. No surgery involved, rechargeable options available, and streaming still works.

The Oticon Companion app on a smartphone

The Oticon Companion App

One app to adjust volume and programs discreetly, personalize your sound, manage streaming, locate misplaced devices and access support, from your phone or Apple Watch®.
