No appointment needed. Walk in on any open day at either office for cleanings, wax guards, domes, retubing and minor repairs. Most visits take a few minutes.
Hearing aids need occasional attention, and most of what they need is small. A wax guard that has done its job. A dome that has hardened. Tubing that has gone stiff. A microphone port that has quietly filled with debris.
None of that should require booking a week out, so it doesn't. Come in on a day we are open and we will take care of it while you wait.
What we handle as a walk-in
- Cleaning and maintenance — a proper clean, well beyond what you can do at the kitchen table
- Wax guards and filters — the single most common cause of a hearing aid that suddenly went quiet
- Domes and earmold tips — replaced when they harden, tear, or stop sealing
- Retubing for behind-the-ear devices, where stiff tubing dulls the sound
- Receiver checks and swaps on most models
- Battery doors, cases and chargers that stopped behaving
- A quick listening check if something sounds off and you are not sure why
- Help with the app, Bluetooth pairing or streaming that stopped working after a phone update
What needs an appointment instead
We would rather tell you now than have you make the drive for nothing:
- Hearing evaluations — these take a full 90 minutes and need the booth and the equipment
- New fittings and reprogramming to a new prescription
- Live speech mapping verification
- Manufacturer repairs, where the device has to be sent away. We can take it in at a walk-in visit, but the turnaround runs a week or two
If you are not sure which category you are in, come in anyway or call. Sorting that out is thirty seconds of conversation.
When someone is open
We run two offices on alternating days, so if today does not work, tomorrow probably does.
| Monday | Hazle Township 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM |
| Tuesday | Kulpmont 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM |
| Wednesday | Hazle Township 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM |
| Thursday | Kulpmont 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM |
| Friday | Closed |
| Saturday | Closed |
| Sunday | Closed |
Walk-in service is available during all of those hours at whichever office is open.
Devices you didn't buy from us
You are still welcome. We service most major manufacturers, and a good share of the walk-ins we see are people whose original provider closed, retired, or moved out of the area. You do not need to have been fitted here, and there is no pitch attached to it.
Where to find us
- Kulpmont, 963 Chestnut St, Kulpmont, PA 17834 — Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, (570) 373-5000
- Hazle Township, 426 Airport Rd #139, Hazle Township, PA 18202 — Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, (570) 459-1400
Free parking at both, and both are on one level.
If what you need turns out to be bigger than a walk-in, book a time and we will set aside the bench for it.

Common questions
Do I need an appointment for a hearing aid cleaning?
No. Walk in on any open day and we will clean your hearing aids, replace wax guards and domes, and check that everything is working. Most visits take a few minutes.
When can I walk in?
Kulpmont is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Hazle Township is open Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Between the two offices, someone is available Monday through Thursday.
Do you service hearing aids I bought somewhere else?
Yes. We service most major manufacturers regardless of where the devices were purchased, including patients whose original provider closed or moved out of the area.
What can't be handled as a walk-in?
Anything needing test equipment or bench time: hearing evaluations, new fittings, reprogramming to a new prescription, and repairs that have to go back to the manufacturer. We can start those at a walk-in visit, but they need a scheduled appointment to finish.
Is there a charge for a walk-in cleaning?
Routine cleaning and maintenance for our patients is part of the care that comes with being fitted here. For devices bought elsewhere, or for parts like receivers and tubing, we will tell you the cost before we do anything.
Should I call first?
You never have to. But a quick call to (570) 373-5000 lets us confirm we have the right parts on the shelf for your model, and means we can often have you in and out faster.
