Our Danville office is closed. Danville patients are seen at our Kulpmont office, 963 Chestnut St, about a 15-minute drive up Route 54. Same practice, same people, same records. Call (570) 373-5000 or book online.
If you have been searching for a hearing aid provider in Danville, here is the honest situation: we do not have an office in town anymore. What we do have is the nearest practice to you, about fifteen minutes away, and a lot of patients who make that drive without thinking twice about it.
Why the drive is shorter than it sounds
Danville sits in an unusual spot for hearing care. Geisinger Medical Center is right here, so the town is used to good medicine being close by, but independent hearing practices are thin on the ground once the hospital's own services fill up.
Kulpmont is roughly 13 miles up Route 54. For most Danville residents that is a shorter trip than a lot of routine appointments already require, and it buys you an independent practice rather than a queue.
What you get for the drive:
- A full 90-minute hearing evaluation, not a fifteen-minute screening in a retail cubicle
- Live speech mapping, so we verify your hearing aids are delivering the prescribed sound in your ear, not just in the fitting software
- The same person every visit. You will not be handed off between locations or staff
- A 30-day trial on every new fitting, so real life decides, not the demo room
Where someone is open, day by day
We run two offices on alternating days. If Tuesday does not work, Monday might, and it is worth knowing that before you assume you have to wait a week.
| Monday | Hazle Township 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM |
| Tuesday | Kulpmont 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM |
| Wednesday | Hazle Township 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM |
| Thursday | Kulpmont 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM |
| Friday | Closed |
| Saturday | Closed |
| Sunday | Closed |
For Danville, Kulpmont is the one you want. Hazle Township is considerably further and mainly serves the Hazleton area.
What we do
Hearing changes are gradual, and most people arrive having put it off for a while. Whatever brought you here:
- Hearing tests — a full evaluation with your results explained in plain language
- Hearing aids — we are an Oticon dealer and fit the current lineup, including Oticon Zeal, which many patients receive the same day as their evaluation
- Earwax removal — with the Earigator system, usually a single quick visit
- Hearing aid repair — most brands, including devices you did not buy from us
- Tinnitus care — real management plans for persistent ringing
Insurance, including Geisinger Gold
Living in Danville, there is a fair chance you are on a Geisinger Gold Medicare Advantage plan. We accept it, along with a range of other plans, and we check your hearing benefit before your appointment so the cost conversation happens up front rather than at the desk on the way out. PowerPay and CareCredit are available if you need to spread the cost.
If you were a patient at our Danville office
Nothing was lost. Your file, your audiogram history and your device records all moved to Kulpmont, and Nevin still has them. Call (570) 373-5000 and we will pick up where we left off.
